Perapera kun is a learning tool and pop-up dictionary for Chinese and Japanese. It works as a free add-on for Firefox. Korean functionality coming soon. PeraPera’s website is a personal blog of a Japanese-fluent student learning Chinese. It tracks vocabulary, grammar, and Kanji from three educational books traced over 8 weeks (each). It is a daily practice program designed around themes to ease learning of both vocab and Kanji. Posts are written on certain scripts, or certain learning mechanisms for the vocabulary or Kanji of that day. PeraPera is designed to help readers with learning Japanese and Chinese, although does not provide translation services, only the lessons learned. Transcripts and plugins for internet browsers are available in Japanese, Chinese, and Korean.
