Culture Kitchen uses food as a means for cultural exchange, creating a community that empowers people in and outside the kitchen. It employs immigrant women, who are masters of cooking their family’s ethnic cuisines to teach food lovers who are not only interested in learning to cook ethnic cuisines, but also are interested in the stories behind the food. Culture Kitchen aims to share the knowledge to make ethnic cuisines people already love and are allowing people to discover cuisines never available to them before. It offers in-person classes and online recipes, as well as ingredient kits and private group classes for purchase.
The startup has partnerships with Whole Foods and has seven traditional cuisines represented.
